West Hartford Food Pantry In Need of Restocking
Audio By Carbonatix
The West Hartford Food Pantry has a critical need for certain items.
By Ronni Newton
West Hartford Food Pantry coordinator Nancy Stockman said that the summer has been very busy, and has put out a plea for certain items that are in very short supply.
The community has been asked to consider picking up the following items for donation to help restock the Food Pantry:
- Soup (almost out)
- Shelf-stable milk (32-ounce packages)
- Baked beans (almost out)
- Canned fruit and applesauce
- Pasta and sauce
- Peanut butter (16-oz. and 18-oz. jars)
The Food Pantry cannot accepted opened or expired items, and regular – not extra large size – packages are recommended.
Donations can be left on the carts in the Town Hall lobby, which is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p..m.
If you have any questions, or need assistance bringing in your donation, please contact Nancy Stockman at 860-561-7569 or [email protected].
