The Children’s Department is proud to announce a new program starting in March called “Come Learn With Me: Family Storytime for Toddlers and Preschoolers.”

This series in March is a wonderful opportunity for families to learn how to help support their children’s early learning. It includes open play and a story time with early literacy tips and ideas for parents.

Each week families will take home books, toys, and other materials to help reinforce themes from the week.

Activities will be geared toward toddlers (ages 2-3) on Mondays and preschoolers (ages 3-5) on Wednesdays, but the entire family is welcome to join!

The program runs March 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, and 27, from 6-7 p.m.

Registration is required by phone. Please call Carol Waxman at 860-561-6980.

This project is made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Connecticut State Library.
