The West Hartford Police Department should do some work on its communication skills. An “incident” occurs at 8:30 am on Hillcrest Avenue. The police do not describe the incident but tell the community not too worry. Then we have a 10:30 twitter report that the “incident” was a home invasion. Then at 4:30 the police report that there was no home invasion. Respectfully, the citizens of this town are entitled to know what happened and whether the police believe that there is any risk to the community from the undesired “incident.” This is not rocket science.
