West Hartford Police said that they have been investigating a series of package thefts that have recently occurred on the east side of town, and on Thursday they released the following video from a homeowner’s ring.com security system in the hope that someone will be able to identify the suspect.

The theft occurred Tuesday at 4:37 p.m. on Boulevard. The suspect can clearly be seen jogging up the front walkway, approaching the door, grabbing a large box from the front porch, and running away.

Police said that while the video does not show the suspect getting into a car, they believe that he fled the scene in a vehicle.

The suspect shown in the video was wearing a yellow t-shirt, dark shorts, and a navy blue St. Louis Cardinals baseball cap with a red brim. He is believed to have been involved in other package thefts, police said.

Anyone with information is urged to contact West Hartford Police at 860-523-5203.
