West Hartford Resident Wins Big at Film Festival

Watkinson School, Hartford’s oldest coed independent day school for grades 6-PG, is proud to announce Maegan Foisie (’16) of West Hartford won Best Cinematography at the Reel Youth Hartford Film Festival at Trinity College’s Cinestudio this past weekend.

Foisie took the title over 21 other films. Her film, “Home Not Home,” featured fellow Watkinson students Ethan Pryor (’16) and an original score by Nate Hellmuth (’16) of Hartford.

Watkinson School is a co-educational day school for grades 6-PG.  Founded in 1881, Watkinson is Hartford’s oldest independent school. Watkinson’s next open house is Friday, May 13, from 9 -11 a.m.
