West Hartford Symphony Orchestra to Present Autumn Classical Concert

The West Hartford Symphony Orchestra’s 23rd Autumn Classical Concert will be. held on Sunday, Oct. 19.

The public is invited to come and enjoy a Sunday afternoon of classical music with the WHSO when it opens its 23rd season.
The concert includes music from Germany, Russia, and America. The beloved Symphony No. 2 of Johannes Brahms opens the first half. The second half will begin with Igor Stravinsky’s “Berceuse and Finale” from his famous Firebird ballet. The concert will conclude with Aaron Copland’s “An Outdoor Overture.”
The performance will be at Northwest Catholic High School on Sunday, Oct. 19, at 3 p.m. General seating tickets are $20 while tickets for seniors and students are $15. Children under 12 are free.
Tickets can be purchased online at whso.org, by calling 860-521-4362, or in the lobby that day. Door open at 2:30 p.m.
