The West Hartford Symphony Orchestra December Holiday Concert has always proven to be one that brings people of all ages into the concert hall, and this year to the Reed Auditorium on the Northwest Catholic High School campus.
From age-old popular holiday songs such as Mel Torm’s “Chestnuts” to excerpts from larger classical works such as Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker,” these are musical moments that transport the audience to happy seasonal, artistic, sacred and personal reflections.
The WHSO is very fortunate to have Raymond Hardman, baritone, as featured guest this year.
The WHSO Holiday Concert is a unique moment to hear a mix of different musical styles that create a wide range of special personal moments for listeners of all ages. Sit back, turn those memories on and enjoy a charming afternoon in the concert hall.
Tickets can be purchased online at whso.org, by calling 860-521-4362, or in the lobby of the theater on the day of the concert. The concert is at 3 p.m. and doors open at 2:30 p.m.. Tickets are $20 for general seating and $15 for seniors and students. Children under 12 are free.
