In his report at the June 10, 2025 Town Council meeting, Town Manager Rick Ledwith announced that three members of the Town Clerk’s office had received news on June 6 after taking the Town Clerk Certification Exam.

“Congratulations to Town Clerk Leon S. Davidoff, Deputy Town Clerk Nadia Khan, and Assistant Town Clerk Tiana M. Pelletier, who passed the final exam and earned the Certified Connecticut Town Clerk designation,” Ledwith announced. “They join Carol A. Foley, Clerk of Vital Records, who earned her CCTC designation on Aug. 7, 2018.”

The exam was rigorous, and tested knowledge of the candidates in five specific areas: Municipal Records Management, Elections, Land Records, Vital Records, and Miscellaneous Records and Other Duties.

All three will be presented with certificates and pins by the Secretary of the State’s Office at the Fall 2025 Conference of the Connecticut Town Clerk’s Association.

Davidoff,  Khan, and Pelletier will now have the “CCTC” designation included in their titles.
