West Hartford’s Snow Mountain Is Conquered

Snow is piled up so high in some parking lots, that “mountains” several stories high have formed.

Alert reader Gary Holmes discovered Sunday morning that West Hartford’s “Snow Mountain,” aka the enormous pile of snow in the Bishops Corner parking lot near the library, has been “claimed” and an American flag has been planted at the peak by the conqueror.

“Ironically at base of mountain are signs stating: No climbing,” Holmes said via Twitter.
