The West Hartford African American Social and Cultural Organization (WHAASCO) is proud to announce the 2026 West Hartford Black Business Expo, taking place on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, from 1 to 4:00 p.m. at the West Hartford Conference Center at Town Hall, located at 50 South Main Street, West Hartford, CT.

Now in its third year, the West Hartford Black Business Expo continues to serve as a vibrant platform celebrating Black-owned businesses while fostering economic empowerment, collaboration, and meaningful community connection. The Expo brings together entrepreneurs, residents, and community partners for an afternoon dedicated to networking, discovery, and intentional support of local Black-owned businesses.

WHAASCO is grateful for the generous support of this year’s sponsors – PeoplesBank, Budr, NBT Bank and Westfield Bank – whose commitment to equity, small business growth, and community engagement helps make this important event possible. Their partnership reflects a shared dedication to strengthening the local economy and expanding opportunities for Black entrepreneurs across West Hartford and the Greater Hartford region.

The West Hartford Black Business Expo remains a cornerstone community event that highlights innovation, resilience, and excellence among Black-owned businesses. By creating space for entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services, the Expo encourages residents and visitors alike to invest locally and build lasting connections that contribute to long-term economic vitality.

Attendees can expect a diverse array of Black-owned businesses representing multiple industries, a welcoming atmosphere with music from a local DJ, and opportunities to engage directly with business owners who play a vital role in the community.

The event is free and open to the public, with complimentary parking available in the Town Hall lot adjacent to the venue.
