Hall High School students will be treated to a visit with teen author K.R. Conway on April 20 and 21, during which Conway will conduct writing workshops and multiple presentations for various classes. An author/student luncheon will also be offered on both days of Conway’s visit.
Conway is the author of a successful young adult fantasy series, “Undertow,” a three-book series with a fourth and final book scheduled to be released this summer.
Nearly 450 students will attend the presentation in the library on April 20. On the second day of Conway’s visit, close to 200 students will participate in workshops to be held in room E131.
Among the workshops Conway has made available for teachers to choose from are: “Character, Destinations and the Ultimate ‘What if?,’” “The Mind’s Eye,” and “Undertow Visit,” where Conway discusses her crafting and writing process and shows manuscripts in progress.
