The Amelia Classical Music Series (ACMS) is proud to present “Incanto: An Afternoon at the Opera,” a thrilling operatic concert featuring five internationally acclaimed vocalists, on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026. The performance will begin at 3 p.m. at Hoffman Auditorium at the Bruyette Athenaeum, University of Saint Joseph, in West Hartford.

Incanto brings audiences a powerful program of beloved operatic masterpieces – featuring music by Verdi, Puccini, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, and more. The afternoon will highlight sweeping romantic arias, dramatic duets, and exhilarating ensemble scenes performed at the highest artistic level.

The concert features an exceptional cast of artists with major international credits, including Viktor Antipenko (Metropolitan Opera, Sydney Opera House, Atlanta Opera); Daniel Sutin (Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera House); Monika Krajewska (Palm Beach Opera, Weimar Music Festival); Teryn Kuzma (Spoleto Festival, Ukrainian Contemporary Music Festival); and ACMS founder Zhanna Alkhazova (Carnegie Hall, Sarasota Opera).

Founded by renowned operatic soprano Zhanna Alkhazova-Isenberg, the Amelia Classical Music Series brings world-class artists to Central Connecticut through intimate, inspiring concerts that connect audiences with extraordinary musicians. Through its growing outreach efforts, ACMS is committed to expanding access to classical music and deepening cultural life in the Greater Hartford region.

The concert will take place at 3 p.m. and last approximately 90 minutes, including one brief intermission. Parking is free and available on campus.
