The FBI’s Citizens Academy takes place each spring and affords leaders in the community an opportunity to gain a greater understanding of how the FBI operates. Instruction is provided by FBI supervisors and personnel to cultivate a greater understanding of how the bureau’s New Haven division initiates and conducts its investigations and community service initiatives.  Upon graduation from the Academy, participants work with the Citizens Academy Alumni Association to promote a safer community through service projects and education programs.
