The Bridge Family Center will host a “View of the Bridge” for young professionals on Wednesday evening, April 17, 2019, from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Bridge Counseling Center, 1038 Farmington Ave., West Hartford.
“The event offers an up-close and personal perspective of the rewards and challenges we face each day as we work with children, adults, and families in our counseling centers, residential homes, Family Resource Centers, and in the West Hartford schools,” explained Margaret Hann, executive director of the Bridge Family Center. “Our program directors share stories from the trenches that illustrate the many ways we positively impact the Greater Hartford region.”
Young professionals, who have an interest in learning more about the services provided in the communities where they live and work, are encouraged to attend.
Wine and light refreshments will be served as guests network with other attendees. There is no cost to attend the event, but RSVPs are requested. Please respond to Doreen Tarascio at [email protected].
The Bridge Family Center serves approximately 9,000 children, adults and families each year. In addition to its central office, counseling center, Family Resource Center and Teen Center in West Hartford, the Bridge also offers counseling centers in Avon and Rockville and short term assessment and respite homes in and around Hartford County.
