Bristow Middle School students present Sue Ann Maresca and Lynn Torsiello, from the American Cancer Society, with a check for $1,000 that was raised to help eradicate breast cancer.

The school goal was to beat the $250 raised the previous year and with hard work and a competitive spirit, the results were very positive.

The top six advisories were rewarded with a celebration breakfast from Principal Steve Cook and Assistant Principal Jackie Colon.
