Conard High School Field Hockey Wins 11th Game of Season

Conard’s field hockey team competed against fellow West Hartford rival Northwest Catholic High School on Thursday, Oct. 16, with the game ending in a thrilling 2-0 victory for the Red Wolves.
Not only was this game a wonderful final homestand for Conard, but it was also great preparation for Wednesday’s upcoming final regular season game against Hall High School.
While the play Thursday night was intense, both teams exhibited great sportsmanship.
Conard junior Merritt Harton scored the first goal, and sophomore Berkeley Hess scored the second.
Goalie Isa Ripepi had six saves.
Conard, now 11-3-1-0 and ranked No. 9 in Class L, will finish out the regular season at No. 10 Hall (10-4-0-1) on Wednesday, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Northwest Catholic (6-6-2-1) will travel to Lewis Mills on Monday before hosting Windsor on Wednesday in the regular season finale.
