Three West Hartford students have won the NCWIT Aspirations Award, an award to encourage high school women to pursue their passions in technology. These three young women were selected out of 3,500 nationally to represent Conard High School in this award.

NCWIT stands for National Center for Women and Information Technology. This organization was created to help revolutionize the field of technology by creating a network of support for women who are interested in advancing in this field.

The Conard winners are Rachel Hennessey, Elizabeth Sagers, and Khanhvy Nguyen. Rachel is a junior, and Khanhvy and Elizabeth are graduating seniors.

Through winning this award, these young women officially join a network of support in terms of scholarships, job opportunities, and guidance from professionals.
