Shine on! Join our synagogue family for Shabbat Under the Stars on Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, 5:30 – 8 p.m., at the Emanuel Synagogue, 160 Mohegan Dr., West Hartford, CT.
Enjoy an evening of faith, fun, and food, with a lively outdoor service, themed activities for the kids, and a barbecue dinner.
At 5:30 p.m., there will be a “pre-neg” for adults, snacks, crafts and activities for the kids, featuring our new director of congregational learning, Kate Goldman. At 6 p.m., an engaging Kabbalat Shabbat “under the stars” will be led by Rabbi Small and Cantor Cohn.
Dinner will follow at 7 p.m., with barbecued hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, salads, drinks, and dessert. Adults (age 13+): $13.00, children (6-12) $7.00, children under 6 and prospective members: FREE.
