This Presidents’ Day holiday, and on special weekend days throughout February, join us at The Children’s Museum for your chance to engage in fun and educational activities with our educators!

We are fortunate to have the most dedicated, knowledgeable and talented educators on our team and are giving our guests the opportunity to learn first-hand from our incredible staff. For the Presidents’ Day holiday, Monday, Feb. 21 and Tuesday, Feb. 22, visitors can meet with paleontologist “Dino Dan” O’Dea to learn about dinosaurs and fossils, attend a planetarium show, and ask questions of our resident astronomer, Ian Robinson.

Planetarium schedule for Feb. 21 and 22 will be The Sky Tonight, shown at 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m., all included with price of admission. In between shows, you will have the chance to visit our exhibit spaces and interact with our educators while learning more about astronomy, paleontology and amphibians. In honor of Steve Irwin’s birthday on Feb. 22, animal demos will include our boa, opossum and cane toad.

Our special weekend days are Astronomy Day, Saturday Feb. 12 (with Planetarium shows at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and included with admission); Fossil Day, Feb. 20; and Amphibian Day, Feb. 27.

Pre-registration is required. Purchase your admission tickets at www.thechildrensmuseumct.org. Admission is limited so hurry to claim your spot! Program times and content subject to change.
