Guests Rock Out at Playhouse On Park’s ‘Encore!’ Gala

The new Bristol Events Center was rockin’ on April 26, as guests clad as their favorite pop or rock stars – or groupies – enjoyed an epic night of performances, food, drink, and fundraising at Playhouse on Park’s “Encore!: Pop Rocks” gala.
It was an eclectic mix of characters as “Elvis” chatted with some dead heads, while nearby some country music crooners were hanging out with an 80s rocker.

More than 300 guests raised roughly $165,000 to support Playhouse on Park through sponsorship, silent and live auctions, and a drawing for front row tickets to an upcoming Bill Joel concert.
Tori Mooney and Kevin Cronin served as energetic hosts for the event – making multiple costume changes – and Rachel Orkin-Ramey was live auctioneer. Many past performers from the Playhouse on Park stage provided lively entertainment for the guests.

Nina Elgo was celebrated as Playhouse on Park’s “POP Star” for 2025, and guests danced until midnight to the music of Latanya Farrell and her band.
