On Nov. 12, 2025, Hall had their annual signing day where seniors can officially announce commitment and sign to their schools.

Families and friends came to watch and support as athletes beloved by the Hall community officially made their commitments to the schools at which they plan to spend the next few years.

Quinn O’Neill is signing to Bates College for football. Caleb Rainey is headed to Bryant University for track and field. Anya Leshem is taking her lacrosse talents to Springfield College. Lucy Gwiazdoski is continuing her education and lacrosse involvement at Endicott College. Lastly, Iona University is lucky to welcome Sienna Calabro as the newest member of their women’s soccer team.

After the introduction of each athlete, the coaches had a little something to say to each player. Assistant football coach Burke Martindale spoke to Quinn’s commitment and hard work that pushed him to be a great leader and captain.

Track and field coach Jeff Billing talked about how Caleb was never satisfied with his performance and always strived to do better, even when he did his best.

Girls soccer coach Scott Ferguson celebrated Sienna and also mentioned his admiration for Anya, how she always wanted to get better. He noted how talented Sienna is and how dramatic the difference in her skill level was between sophomore and junior year. She worked so hard to improve and it really showed just how driven she is.

Girls lacrosse coach Kristen Mullady was unable to make it to the event because she doesn’t work in the building. However, she emailed over a speech to be read, noting how she was the head women’s lacrosse coach at Springfield for 13 years and so Anya going there is extra special to her. She said she knows that Anya has a great future in front of her and Springfield will be lucky to have her. Mullady said she also admires Lucy, stating that she is an amazing mentor and she knew it since the day they met. She is someone you want on your team because of her determination, work ethic, and consistency.

Until last year, students planning to attend Division I or II colleges or universities signed national letters of intent, but now students at Division I, II, and II are able to accept offers of athletic aid, which are a combination of scholarship and financial aid monies, and are also permitted to earn money through the NIL (name, image, and likeness) program.
