JCC Youth Theater Program Will Present Alice in Wonderland Jr.

Alice in Wonderland Jr. will be performed in West Hartford for two weekends beginning Dec. 3, 2016.

The Mandell JCC’s Youth Theater Program will travel down the rabbit hole and perform Alice in Wonderland, Jr., Saturday, Dec. 3; Sunday, Dec. 4; Saturday, Dec. 10; and Sunday, Dec. 11, in the Herbert Gilman Theater at the Mandell JCC, Zachs Campus, 335 Bloomfield Ave., West Hartford, CT. The production is under the direction of new Youth Theater Director, Lisa Grant.

Follow Alice, one of literature’s most beloved heroines, in her madcap adventures. The very curious Alice’s journey begins innocently enough as she chases the White Rabbit. Her adventures become increasingly more strange as she races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar, and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game.

Alice in Wonderland, Jr. stars Llana Brown (Cheshire Cat 1), Eliana Goldberg (Cheshire Cat 2), Summer Neiditz (Cheshire Cat 3), Maya Patt (Matilda), Lauren Shilansky (Alice), Veronica Safryn (Tall Alice), Ellie Goldstein (Small Alice), Sal Katz (White Rabbit), Samantha Epstein (Doorknob), Sadie Margolis (Dodo Bird), Katherine Lurie (Rock Lobster), Audrey Karasik (Rock Lobster), Maxx Smith-Rapaport (Tweedle Dum), Nathaniel Aaronson (Tweedle Dee), Lily Tempkin (Rose), Alyssa Temkin (Petunia), Isabel Brown (Lily), Mollie Hall (Violet), Davyn Gottfried (Daisy), Dov Geoghegan (Caterpillar), Sadie Margolis (Mad Hatter), Sahar Gruper (March Hare), Katie Chaletsky (Royal Cardsman), Mira Goldstein (Royal Cardsman), Shoshana Levy (Queen of Hearts), Gavi Bruce (King of Hearts), Ella Godel (Featured Dancer) and Quinn Smith (Hedgehog). The show also features the ensemble castYsabel Albert, Lia Baffaro, Leah Berey, Gavi Bruce, Sofia Figueroa, Talia Geoghegan, Ella Godel, Shoham Grupper, Jane Hoberman, Baylee Krulewitz, Jordan Lang, Ari Pincus, Abigail Sadinsky, Jeremy(JJ) Safryn, Caroline Saulsbury, Abigail Schiff, Hannah Schoen, Ethan Shamshtein, Hannah Shtern, Emelia Smith, Leah Zirolli, Ava Tringali, Quinn Smith.
