Kingswood Oxford is offering free sports clinics to girls in grades 4-8 to celebrate Girls in Sports Day. This energy-packed morning, held on Saturday, Jan. 31, from 9 to 11 a.m. in KO’s state-of-the-art Hoffman Field House, allows girls to try a new sport or hone their skills in one they love!

The sessions are taught by Kingswood Oxford’s experienced varsity coaches and players from the girls’ varsity teams.

Attendees choose from three pre-registered activities, including: softball, soccer, squash, volleyball, esports, golf, lacrosse, speed & agility, theater, basketball, dance, field hockey, tennis, and rotate among the three sessions.

Attendees should arrive dressed to actively participate in the activities. KO will provide the equipment, but if the players would like to bring their own stick, racket, or glove, please do. Bring a water bottle to hydrate. Girls receive a free t-shirt!

Studies have shown that sports are great for girls because they boost physical and mental health, improve academic performance, and build crucial life skills like leadership, teamwork, and resilience, leading to greater confidence and body positivity.

Let’s elevate girls in sports!
