To the Editor:

On Nov. 8, join me in re-electing KATE FARRAR as our State Representative for the 20th District.

I grew up in the district, attended our neighborhood schools, and served as the State Representative for many years. Kate has done an outstanding job in her first term advocating for our town, our district, and our friends and neighbors.

Kate participates in countless events and meetings in West Hartford. She actively engages our residents and keeps us informed on state issues and programs of interest.

One of her many accomplishments which I am especially grateful is getting state funding so the town can acquire my old elementary school – St. Brigid’s – next to Beachland Park to become a new community center. What a great idea in a perfect location!

Kate has earned the trust we placed in her two years ago and strongly merits re-election so that she can continue to fight and win for the 20th District and West Hartford.

David McCluskey
Former State Representative for the 20th District
