To the Editor:

We write in support of Ben Wenograd for Town Council. We have known Ben for more than 20 years and for that whole time – he has been working to build community in West Hartford, the past eight in elected office.

As a Town Councillor, he is usually the first one we call with a question or concern. We know we will be listened to and he will explain his point of view. His responses are always personalized and thoughtful, going beyond the canned email responses that are sometimes sent. Sometimes we agree – sometimes we don’t. Yet, we always feel heard and know he takes our point of view into account.

Ben provides leadership in the areas of safe streets, bikeability and affordable housing. Overall, his approach as an eager learner, an open listener and as a bridge builder give us confidence that, in these uncertain times, he will adapt and represent the needs of West Hartford residents in any situation.
