Letters submitted by political candidates will be considered for publication up to 14 days prior to an election and most will be published within 48 hours of receipt. To the Editor:

I’ve known John Lyons for several years as both a customer and as an active member in our community. He has a natural proclivity to build rapport with everyone he meets.

His informative weather reports have already made him a trusted household name in West Hartford, especially with the elementary school children and teachers wishing for a snow day! He has also served as a reliable news source working on a WHCI TV round table show as well as writing articles for We-Ha.com. He is a generous supporter of many cause-related efforts in town and an advocate for food drives and fundraisers that focus on giving back to our most vulnerable neighbors.

On November 4th, I encourage you to vote for John Lyons, and an established leader in town who can continue to help knit our community together.
