To the Editor:

I write in strong support of Kate Farrar, our atate representative for West Hartford and Newington.

Kate is someone who gets out and listens to and fights for our entire community.  I have observed that Kate is genuine, she is caring and compassionate, and she believes that all residents should be treated with dignity and respect. While some politicians deliver hollow and meaningless messages, Kate has delivered on her promised talking points by helping to develop an informed legislative agenda.

Kate engages in dialogue and learns from people on both sides of issues so that she can look beyond the immediate impact of the causes that she supports. Not only about the facts, but also about the benefits and consequences of proposed legislation. Kate has worked to cut taxes for families across the state. Kate supports access to education ranging from early childhood through college. Kate supports seniors, racial and gender equity, and is an advocate for our environment.

We need to return Representative Kate Farrar to the Connecticut General Assembly so that she can continue to keep fighting for us all.

Eric Galm
