The ‘Turkey Bus’ was ‘all filled up and ready to go’ with more food than ever before collected during this year’s food drive in response to the West Hartford Food Pantry’s need for non-perishables.

The Annual Turkey Bus at Lollipop Tree Nursery School was another huge success.

Understanding how depleted the West Hartford Food Pantry is at this time, Lollipop Tree Nursery School families rallied together in support of this great cause. The community collected more food than ever this school year.

“The bus was overflowing from the generous donations we received from families. It warms my heart how much food we collected. I’m so proud of our families. Thank you,” said Owner/Director Jon Scher. “One of the best lessons we can teach our children is how important it is to help others in need.”
