After 31 years of loving library service to the children of the West Hartford community, our beloved Miss Dee is saying good-bye!

Miss Dee has remembered every child she has had in her classes through the years! Former “kids” who have visited as college students or adults always come by to say hello to Miss Dee when they are back in town visiting. She has danced the hokey pokey, shaken her sillies, and waggled her wiggles out about 1 million times and brought laughter and joy to all of our families.

The seasonal décor and displays in the Children’s Room, the countless original costumes for the Halloween parties, and the hilarious summer reading shows have added sparkle and a sense of wonder and excitement to the Children’s Room.

Please come to honor Miss Dee as she enters the next exciting chapter in her life.

A dessert reception will be held on Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, from 4-6 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room at the Noah Webster Library.

Everyone is welcome to attend!
