The Metropolitan District (MDC) has announced the launch of its new MDC Pay mobile app, giving customers a seamless and convenient way to manage their accounts and make payments directly from their smartphones.
This latest innovation follows the successful rollout of the company’s enhanced online MyHQ bill pay portal earlier this month. The MyHQ system, administered through the MDC’s third-party vendor Kubra, features upgrades that include a new dashboard with improved navigation, the ability to sign up for a PDF bill, enhanced SMS capability, and more user-friendly password reset functionality.
With the addition of the MDC Pay mobile app, MDC continues its commitment to making the bill pay process simpler, faster, and more customer friendly. MDC customers can download the free app by searching “MDC Pay” in the Apple Store or Google Play Store. Customers with an existing MyHQ profile can access MDC Pay with the same username and password. New users can find the “First Time Signing In” tab under Help & Options.
“We know our customers value flexibility and convenience,” said Scott Jellison, MDC CEO. Adding a mobile app to our digital toolkit is another way we’re making it easier for them to stay on top of their water bills – anytime, anywhere.”
“As Board Chairman, and as a longtime customer myself, I’m especially proud of this new mobile app,” said MDC Chairman Donald Currey. “It reflects our commitment to innovation and to meeting our community’s expectations for a more modern way to do business. I appreciate the convenience of being able to manage my water account on the go, and I know our customers will too.”
