On Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, the annual Model Train Show will be hosted at the Conard High School Cafeteria by Technology Student Association (TSA) students from Sedgwick Middle School led by Technology & Engineering (T&E) teacher Cathy Lukas.

This year’s event will feature a 36’x24’ HO scale layout and a 6’x11′ Lionel train from the Mohegan Pequot Model Railroad Club. Amherst Beltines will display a 20’x30’ scale layout.

The Duffy Elementary Train Club will exhibit Lego displays as well as provide Lego building and other activities for all children to enjoy.

TSA students from Sedgwick Middle School will be on hand to provide service to the model railroaders and guests – not to mention have some fun along the way. The show is a fundraiser to help with the cost of West Hartford Public Schools TSA members participating in upcoming competitive events at the CT-TSA State and TSA National Conferences, as well as other member events. TSA is a national student organization for those students interested in all aspects of technology.

Food, snacks, and drinks will be available for sale. The show will run from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 students and seniors, and free for children under 10.
