Is it so hard to put a 2 or 3 second delay on the lights before switching from red to green. Those few seconds can probably help many of these accidents be avoided…and certainly help move traffic through the ridiculous intersection of Farmington Ave and Main Street(s)…PS – who thought of the disappearing left turn lane?
I was in an accident at that same intersection on Friday. While waiting for the person in front of us make a left, person behind us saw the green light and hit the gas. Nobody hurt. Really need a left turn lane or signal there.
