West Hartford Women in Networking invites interested female business owners and community residents to its September meeting.

The next meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018, from 7:30-9:15 a.m., at Chatfield/Brookdale, One Chatfield Dr., West Hartford, CT.

There will be opportunities to meet and greet, network, enjoy breakfast treats, make new contacts, and hear an engaging presentation. Our guest speaker will be Samantha Dynowski, state director of the Sierra Club.

Since 1972, the Sierra Club Connecticut Chapter has worked to connect people to nearby nature, and to protect our air, water, land, climate and quality of life. In 2018, the Chapter now represents more than 9,000 members throughout the state. Dynowski will join us to talk about the Sierra Club in Connecticut, and the five strategies the organization is using to tackle climate change in our state.

The meeting will also include introductions, networking, and breakfast snacks. Bring business cards, brochures etc. New attendees are welcome and there is no membership fee. The meeting cost is $2 person.
