The season’s first round of road repaving has been completed, other than completion of pavement markings which will be done in the next several weeks, West Hartford Town Manager Matt Hart stated in his most recent Town Manager’s Report.

The next round of repaving, which will include milling but not reconstruction, will begin the week of July 8. The following roadways will be included in the next round:

  • Davenport Road
  • Laurel Drive
  • Richmond Lane
  • Richmond Road
  • Day Road
  • Hilldale Road
  • Peyote Road

In addition, Hart said that South Quaker Lane, from Talcott Road to New Britain Avenue, was repaved last year but will be repaved again due to an issue with the quality of the asphalt. Resurfacing work will be done at the contractor’s expense since the work is under warranty, Hart said.

A third round of repaving will begin in September/October, and that schedule will be announced once it has been finalized.
