Purchase your tickets today to Northwest Catholic’s spring musical Into the Woods.

On Friday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 24 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 25 at 2 p.m., the Northwest Catholic Dramateurs will take its audience on a wondrous adventure through famous fairy tales that have ignited imaginations for over two centuries.

Stories that have both enchanted and frightened their listeners, these tales from the Brothers Grimm have made their way into our collective conscience. Eerie woods, an evil witch, mysterious characters, and themes of longing and loss weave through this Tony Award-winning musical that Northwest Catholic will bring to life.

Director and Choreographer, Kate Morran, remarked, “Into the Woods is written for fewer than 25 actors, and our cast is nearly 50 strong. As a creative team we had to conceptualize the piece in a way that included an ensemble. It has been really fun watching the acting, music, set, costumes, and students come together to create a unique take on a well-known show.”

Meet Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack, and Rapunzel, along with the Baker who must reverse a curse if he and his wife are to have the family they dream of. All the characters are dreaming and aching and searching for something more. Will the Baker find his cow, the cape, a slipper? Only those in NWC’s Rice Auditorium March 23-25 will find out. Join us as we wrestle with the important question of what happens after “happily ever after.”
