Northwest Catholic honored six alumni and one former faculty member for their past and current service in the United States Armed Forces at the Homecoming Football Game on Oct. 18, 2014.
Those honored during the special halftime ceremony include former NWC teacher Ron Ferri (Army), Kenneth Cahill ’65 (Air Force), John King ’65 (Army), Barry Lazlo ’65 (Navy), Chris Gauthier ’82 (Navy), Raul Castro ’13 (Army) and Jesse McLain ’14 (Army). Castro was represented by his mother, Norma Rodriguez.
“Veterans make up an important segment of our alumni base, and we were thrilled that they came back to see us so that we could thank them for their service to the country” said Northwest Catholic President Dave Eustis.
Since 1961, Northwest Catholic’s mission has been to educate the whole person: mind, body, spirit, and soul. Enrollment for the Class of ’19 is now under way, and prospective students are invited to the Open House at Northwest Catholic on November 9, 2014.
