Northwest Catholic High School’s Dramateurs will perform “Metamorphoses” by Mary Zimmerman from Dec. 5 through Dec. 7. “Metamorphoses brings Ovid’s epic poem of mythology to stunning visual life. Set in and around a large pool of water onstage, “Metamorphoses” juxtaposes the ancient and the contemporary in both language and image to reflect the variety and persistence of narrative in the face of inevitable change.

The production features over two dozen students and is directed by Sara Avery. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 5 and Dec. 6. The Dec. 7 show begins at 2 p.m. All shows are in the Alice C. Mortensen Theater at Northwest Catholic. Tickets are $10.

Since 1961, Northwest Catholic’s mission has been to educate the whole person: mind, body, spirit, and soul. Enrollment for the Class of ’19 is now under way, and prospective students are invited to the take the Entrance Exam at Northwest Catholic on December 6, 2014.
