The popular song and dance extravaganza is back! Digits. Dig It! is the 12th original production by stop/time dance theater, and opens Friday, March 20 at 8:00 p.m. (with preview shows on Wednesday and Thursday, March 18-19 at 7:30 p.m.)

The annual toe tapping, crowd pleaser features Playhouse on Park’s resident dance company and was conceived, directed, and choreographed by artistic director Darlene Zoller with musical direction by Sean Pallatroni. The show consists of a variety of music—including original arrangements—dancing, and a live band, so audiences can “count” on a night of entertainment! Digits. Dig It! will be playing from March 18 – 29, 2015.

Director and choreographer Darlene Zoller serves as co-artistic director and co-founder of Playhouse on Park. She also teaches at The Hartt School—where she choreographed THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLE—and The Hartt School Community Division. Zoller’s Playhouse on Park credits include CABARET (2013 Best Choreographer, Broadway World), I’D RATHER BE DANCING, and CHICAGO (2011 Best Director of a Musical, Broadway World). Musical director Sean Pallatroni is an EMMY ® Award-winner and alumnus of The Hartt School. His credits include the 2012 NYC premiere of his musical BEYOND THIS PARADISE (Thespis Theatre Festival Finalist) and orchestral arrangement WHEN THE GRASS WAS STILL GREEN (2010 Alabama Orchestra Association’s Composition Competition), as well as scores for Connecticut Public Television’s EMPOWERING CONNECTICUT, INFINITY HALL LIVE, and ALL THINGS CONNECTICUT.

Shows are Wednesday-Sunday from March 18 – March 29. Wednesdays and Thursdays the show begins at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays are at 8 p.m., and Sundays are at 2 p.m. Two preview shows will take place on Wednesday, March 18 and Thursday, March 19at 7:30 p.m. For opening night, a pre-performance wine and cheese reception sponsored by Cabot Cheese, Edible Arrangements, and West Side Wine and Spirits will take place on Friday, March 20 at 7:00 p.m. A talk back with the cast will take place immediately following all Sunday performances.
