Playhouse on Park’s second Comedy Night at the Playhouse of the season will feature three female comedians: Debra Cole, headliner; Vicky Kuperman, middle act; and Christina Thomas, emcee. This evening of stand-up will be held on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 8 p.m.
Debra Cole is a southern liberal feminist mother and has been the host of the Aurora Theatre Funny Fridays since 2012. A Moscow-born Boston native, Vicky Kuperman has been described as “fearless.” She is one of only four women to place in the finals of the Boston Comedy Festival throughout its 13-year history. While participating in several competitions and contests such as The Funniest Comic in New England Contest in 2012, Christina Thomas covers topics such as being in the military, being lesbian, wearing hearing aids, having OCD, ADHD, and being a recovering addict. She has performed throughout New England at casinos such as Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.
This is a BYOB event. Tickets are priced at $15, all seats reserved. For more information, go to the Playhouse on Park website (www.playhouseonpark.org), call by phone (860-523-5900 x10), or stop by the box office (244 Park Road, West Hartford, CT).
This looks like it’s going to be a good show. There sure are a lot of comediennes we need to watch.
