Rabbi Rami Shapiro will lead a retreat on his book “Perennial Wisdom for the Spiritually Independent” at First Church of Christ Congregational in West Hartford Center on Feb. 27 and 28, 2015.
Spiritually independent people are seekers without borders: people of any faith and no faith who explore the teachings, texts and techniques of every faith, discover the Perennial Wisdom common to them all.
The retreat will begin on Friday, Feb. 27, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and continue on Saturday, Feb. 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. A contribution of $40.00, payable in advance will include lunch on Saturday and a copy of Rabbi Shapiro’s book.
Reservations must be made by Wednesday, February 18 and can be made in person or by mail to J.P. Webster Library, First Church of Christ Congregational, 12 South Main Street, West Hartford, CT.
