Riverfront Recapture rowers, many of whom are from West Hartford or attend schools in West Hartford, have had great success in recent races.

The Riverfront Recapture’s Boys’ Varsity 4+ boat raced in the prestigious Head of The Charles Regatta in Boston, MA, on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015.

The Head of the Charles is the world’s largest two day race, with over 32 countries and 11,000 athletes competing. Racing against 85 other teams, Riverfront placed in the top half of their division, earning the team the ability to race again in 2016.

All 5 boys in the boat attend West Hartford/Hartford Schools.

Riverfront Recapture also recently had a successful day of racing at the 6^th Annual New England Junior and High School Regional Championships on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, MA, on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015.

Four of Riverfront’s boats earned Bronze medals, competing against 43 teams and 338 entries in various divisions.
