Two Hartford residents have been arrested following a road rage disturbance that ended in a West Hartford parking lot, police said.
West Hartford Police Capt. Michael Perruccio said that a call came in regarding a disturbance in the parking lot at 300 Bloomfield Ave. involving a woman wielding a bat and a male suspect who possibly had a firearm.
Multiple units responded, but the suspects fled before police arrived.
The victim told police that they had been followed from Hartford into the West Hartford parking lot following a road rage incident.
Following an investigation, police determined that there were not any firearms “involved, threatened, or displayed at any time,” but the victim’s car had sustained minor damage from being struck by the bat. There were no injuries, police said.
Police located the suspects at their residence in Hartford, Perruccio said.
Ishaeliz Capella, 29, was arrested and charged with second-degree breach of peach and third-degree criminal mischief. She was released on $5,000 non-surety bond.
Luis Dominguez, 27, was issued a summons for second-degree breach of peace.
Both Capella and Dominguez are due in court on Sept. 16.
