Both West Hartford public golf courses are open for the 2022 season as of Thursday, March 31, 2022.

The Town of West Hartford announced this week that its award-winning Rockledge Golf Course would reopen for the 2022 season on Thursday, March 31, at 9 a.m.
Tee times are available for booking online at www.rockledgegolf.com, and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. The practice greens, driving range, and Golf Shop are also open during regular seasonal hours. Season passes and discount passes are available for sale.

The town’s website notes that there are currently two temporary greens on the golf course. “The extreme temperature swings at points during the winter where one day it was in the 50’s and raining and the next day the lows were around zero stressed the turf on our greens. Many other courses in the area were affected by this as well. Our maintenance crew here will be hard at work repairing this winter injury. We appreciate your support and look forward to a great 2022 golf season,” the website states.
West Hartford’s other public golf course, the 9-hole Buena Vista course, opened earlier this month. Details about Buena Vista can be found here.
