SJB’s Board will be piloted by Co-Presidents Jeff Ferketic and Yvonne Matthews, with Anne Danaher serving as Vice President, George Konefal as Treasurer, and Novlette Williams as Secretary.

The new leadership team members bring a diverse set of skills and expertise to the organization:

  • Jeff Ferketic (West Hartford), Co-President: A seasoned professional with extensive experience in management and engineering.
  • Yvonne Matthews (Bloomfield), Co-President: A dynamic leader with a background in advocacy and workforce development.
  • Anne Danaher (Simsbury), Vice President: An expert in organizational strategy and development with a focus on creating sustainable and impactful programs.
  • George Konefal (West Hartford), Treasurer: A financial expert with a deep understanding of budgeting and financial oversight.
  • Novlette Williams (West Hartford), Secretary: A dedicated community leader with experience in governance and organizational operations.

These officers and the other members of SJB’s board of directors serve as unpaid volunteers. “We are excited to welcome such a talented and passionate group of leaders to guide Seniors Job Bank into its next phase of growth and impact,” said Robin H. Clare, SJB’s Executive Director. “Together, we are committed to strengthening our mission of providing people over 50 with meaningful employment opportunities and fostering a supportive, inclusive community.”

Yvonne Matthews, Co-President, explained, “I’m eager to be working with a leadership team that brings a wealth of experience and dedication to our mission.” Jeff Ferketic, Co-President added, “We will work closely with our staff, volunteers, and community partners to help ensure that seniors have the resources they need to stay engaged, active, and employed.
