The Hartford Preservation Alliance will hold its annual fall fundraising tour – an exciting line up of designer kitchens in historic homes.
From sweeping panoramic views to the kitchen of a renowned local chef, this year’s tour promises to awe and inspire participants with a variety of kitchen styles and elegant dining rooms in six historic homes.
Two of the kitchens are located in West Hartford – including the kitchen of noted chef Billy Grant. The kitchen at 137 Steele Rd., a marriage of classic architecture and modern kitchen design, is also included on the tour.
The other four kitchens are in Hartford, and include a Prospect Avenue mansion with a panoramic view and a 1877 Second Empire with a quaint landscaped garden. The locations are:
- 153 North Beacon St., Hartford – quality design meets functional family living
- 1144 Prospect Ave., Hartford – with spectacular, panoramic views
- 21 Sherman Street, Hartford – a designer kitchen opening to a “garden of rooms”
- 10 Woodside Circle, Hartford – a covet-worthy pantry and antique DuFour French wallpaper
The 2018 Hartford Preservation Alliance Kitchen Tour will be held on Sunday, Sept. 16, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 day of event, and can be ordered onlin here.
