Beginning in December, the West Hartford Library and the Capital Classics Theatre Company team up to present the Shakespeare Book Club. Join Capital Classics Artistic Associate and Professor of Theatre Geoffrey Sheehan in discussions of Shakespeare’s great works of theatrical literature.

Discussions will focus on literary elements, such as story, theme, and character, as well as theatrical staging ideas inspired by the texts.

The Shakespeare Book Club will gather in the Noah Webster Library Meeting Room, 20 South Main Street, West Hartford, at 7 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month (beginning Dec. 2014).

No registration is needed to attend. The Club is open to any and all who have read or seen the entire play, and wish to participate. Upcoming discussions include Hamlet (Dec. 2), Macbeth (Jan. 6), and Othello (Feb. 3).
