West Hartford Police said late Monday evening via Twitter that the Silver Alert for John Boswell was canceled after he was safely located.

Police are asking the public’s help in finding a man reported missing in West Hartford.
According to Connecticut State Police, John Boswell, 87, was last seen Monday.
He is white, 5-feet 9-inches tall, and has gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a cream-colored polo short, light-colored pants, and possibly a Red Sox baseball cap.
Police said Boswell may be driving a red 2013 Subaru Forrester, with Connecticut plate 461MWH.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact West Hartford Police at 860-523-5203.
