‘Singing Sergeants’ to Perform in West Hartford
The U.S. Air Force ensemble, The Singing Sergeants, will perform at St. James’s Episcopal Church in West Hartford on Feb. 20.

The Singing Sergeants, one of the six performing ensembles in the United States Air Force Band, will perform in a free concert at St. James’s Episcopal Church in West Hartford on Monday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m.
“The excellence demonstrated by the United State’s Air Force Band’s Singing Sergeants active-duty musicians reflects the excellence carried out 24 hours a day by Airmen stationed around the globe,” a spokesperson for the Singing Sergeants said in an email. “The Singing Sergeant’s performances advance, inspire patriotism, and positive impressions of the U.S. Air Force and the United States of America.”
The Singing Sergeants present engaging programs of selections that include traditional Americana, opera, choral standards, Broadway, and jazz styles. Stationed at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C., their mission is “to honor those who have served, inspire American citizens to heightened patriotism and service, and connect with the global community on behalf of the U.S. Air Force and the United States of America.”
Doors open 30 minutes prior to performance time for ticket holders, and remaining tickets will be released 15 minutes prior to the concert. Seating is first-come-first-served.
St. James’s Episcopal Church is located at 1018 Farmington Avenue, West Hartford, CT.
