The third Annual Aiken Science Fair took place on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, with approximately 40 students in grades 4 and 5 taking part in the event.

All of the students who participated spent weeks following the scientific method to choose a topic, develop a hypothesis, conduct their experiment, and gather their data. All who attended agreed that the projects were impressive and covered a myriad of topics.

Project topics included learning about sugar in the foods you eat, animal behavior, the most effect type of fertilizer for household plants, and the best paper towel brands.

Several staff members served as judges for the event and Aiken extends a special thank you to parent Stacy Millman for volunteering countless hours of her time to organize the event and work with students.
