Traffic Advisory: North Main and Fern Intersection to Close Temporarily for Repaving

Repaving of Fern Street in West Hartford is scheduled for Tuesday, May 21 and Wednesday, May 22.

The Town of West Hartford’s Engineering Department advises that now that milling has been completed, the repaving of Fern Street between North Main Street and Trout Brook Drive is scheduled to take place, weather dependent, on Tuesday May 21 and Wednesday, May 22.
The repaving includes the intersection of North Main Street and Fern Street, which will be closed temporarily.
Traffic delays are expected, and drivers are urged to avoid the area and use Trout Brook Drive as a north-south alternative, and either Farmington Avenue or Asylum Avenue for heading in an east-west direction.
